Toyota Vehicle Recall: Sticky Accelerator Pedal

If you own a Toyota, you need to check to see if your model is one of the 2.3 million vehicles being recalled. Toyota has found that there is a potential malfunction in the mechanism that controls the accelerator pedal. On rare occasions it may stick when partially depressed or it may slowly return to the idle position.

The affected vehicles in this most recent recall are listed below:

2009-2010 RAV4,
2009-2010 Corolla,
2009-2010 Matrix,
2005-2010 Avalon,
Certain 2007-2010 Camry,
2010 Highlander,

2008-2010 Sequoia

Owners of the vehicles included in the recall should read the Sticking Accelerator Pedal Recall FAQs on the Toyota website.
